Joanna’s Comments

Pavillon Faubourg Saint-Germain has undergone extensive renovation. The hotel is owned by the same family that owns Pavillon de la Reine and Pavillon des Lettres. The hotel has the best location on the Left Bank, right on the corner of Rue du Pré aux Clercs and Rue de L’Université, just a few steps from Saint-Germain-des-Prés church. This is one of the area’s most beautiful boutique hotels, with a new restaurant, Les Parisiens, and a cocktail bar. With its large windows and whitewashed walls, the hotel is light, airy and very comfortable. There are 47 rooms and suites, a spa with a small plunge pool with jets, treatment rooms, steam room and gym.  About half the rooms in the hotel maintain the original classic traditional look, and the other half have a more modern feel.  This will give guests a choice depending on their taste and the style that appeals to them. There will be many family-room options. With the wonderful service and warmth of the Pavillon team, this new hotel on the Left Bank promises to be one of the most sought-after hotels in Paris.
