Pavillon des Lettres is a sister hotel to the popular Pavillon de la Reine in the Marais, and the newly refurbished Pavillon du Faubourg Saint-Germain (formerly Hotel Le Saint) on the Left Bank. All three hotels are privately owned by the Chevalier family. Pavillon des Lettres is a charming 26-bedroom hotel including three rooms with Eiffel Tower view. These three rooms, upon request, can be guaranteed at time booking with no extra cost. Each room is named after an author, playwright or poet in alphabetical order – Hans Christian Anderson to Emile Zola. There is a literary theme throughout the hotel, with quotations for the appropriate writer hand-stenciled above the bed. There is an eclectic, well-stocked library downstairs, together with a charming breakfast room, honesty bar and patio terrace. The hotel is located in the 8th arrondissement a few steps from the Rue du Faubourg St. Honoré and the Place Madeleine and many wonderful shopping areas. The hotel is next to the Elysées Palace and the Ministry of Police, and the Tuileries Gardens and the Louvre are within easy reach. The rooms are beautifully designed by Didier Benderli who also designed Pavillon de La Reine. This hotel offers affordable prices in a high-priced area.
